Isabelle Nuru Dayne, born November 12, 1987, is an American singer-songwriter, music executive, and television producer. The eldest daughter of Pop Icon Taylor Dayne, she is known professionally as Belle Nuru. Belle signed to Clive Davis's J Records label in 2006 and released her debut album "Still Thankful" the following year. During the recording process of her sophomore album, Belle decided to pursue a full time career in songwriting. She went on to sign an exclusive deal with Sony Music Entertainment to write mainly for their artist. Over the years she worked closely with Clive Davis, while writing songs for the likes of Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Adele, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Mariah Carey, P!nk, Leona Lewis, Chris Brown, Fifth Harmony, Jordin Sparks, Fantasia, Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, and Jennifer Hudson, among others. Her song catalog has amassed 80 million sales worldwide, along with being included in major motion films and television series.
Belle went on to hold executive positions at J Records, RCA Records, and Epic Records. In 2017, Belle announced that she had created a new hybrid songwriting/singing competition for the Lifetime television network, along with signing a multiple development deal with The Hallmark Network. She will serve as Executive Producer for The Taylor Dayne Story (Lifetime Network), Arista Records (HBO), and Let It Snow (Netflix)
Currently she holds the position of Assistant Chief Creative Officer at Sony Entertainment.
